Things to do with the Kids
Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas or are thinking about
calling the city home, there is no shortage of things to do. And while most
people think of adult-only entertainment when they think of Las Vegas, there
are actually quite a few activities for families to do with their little ones.
Here are just a few kids activities to check out in Las Vegas.
Spring Preserve
Spanning some 180 acres, Spring Preserve offers up a
wonderful selection of nature walks to explore with the entire family.
Positioned just three miles to the west of downtown Vegas, it’s a quick drive and
an even better entertainment option for you and the kiddos. The preserve also
hosts countless signature events that include music, art, tours and more. Bring
the kids and explore this wondrous area
of Las Vegas.
Take them to The Water Park
Located in Henderson, Cowabunga Bay offers up hours of fun
for the entire family. It’s just one waterpark to explore in Las Vegas. Another
option is Wet’n’Wild which offers up a kiddie pool, wave pool, and larger
slides for the big kids.
Check out a Golden Knights Game
The Golden Knights made Las Vegas their home in 2017, and
now offer tourists and residents a chance to catch an NHL game in their home
city. Bring the whole family and chow down on burgers or hot dogs as you watch
the Knights slay their opponents.
World Class Entertainment
Las Vegas is well known for its incredible entertainment,
and it doesn’t skimp on kids activities either. Check out Cirque Du Soleil for
a night of being awestruck, or see the Blue Man Group in person for a
spectacular two-hour event. You can even explore the countless aquariums and
see sharks and tropical fish in an interactive environment. There’s no shortage
of entertainment options to check out!
Shopping and Dining
Of course, if you’re just looking for a great shopping and
dining experience, Vegas offers up plenty of opportunities there too. If you’re
looking for luxury and designer shops, consider the shops at Crystals and Via Bellagio. There you’ll find Rolex shops as well
as Gucci and all the other designer brands you love. If you’re looking for
something more affordable, then consider the Fashion Show mall on the Strip’s
north end. Or if you want something more vintage, check out the Downtown
Container Park shopping district.
Las Vegas isn’t just for adults. Consider these kids
activities to make it a place where the entire family can enjoy themselves.
