Red Rock Canyon National Park hosts over 1.25 million visitors each year.

Exploring the Park—What to Expect

 

Red Rock Canyon National Park is a geologist’s dream thanks to its incredible rock formations complete with stunning colors and picturesque backdrops.

Hiking at Red Rock Canyon is not to be missed.

The park touts over 26 different hikes that vary in difficulty from casual hiker to experienced mountain climber.

As you climb the canyon walls you’ll get a chance to explore peaks, chimneys, and chutes.

But if hiking isn’t your thing, Red Rock Canyon offers a variety of vehicle paths with plenty of jaw-dropping scenic stops.

For a small fee, you can take a 13-mile drive along the trail heads for a truly unique view of the park.

And when you get tired of the natural landscapes, you can dive a bit closer into the park’s diverse mixture of plants and animals.

Take a walk inside the park to scope out wildflowers like the Agave plant and unique animals like the Burro, all year round.
